Early Louis Feraud pieces are highly collectible and in their day they were sought after. Women like Elizabeth Taylor and Brigitte Bardot were huge fans of the line. From the sixties through to the early eighties the Feraud label was known world wide for piece that incorporated gorgeous graphics and cutting edge designs. This is a great little dress that showcases the sense of drama the label had during this time period. The dress is very unusual and gorgeous. The skirt is a lovely rounded bubble shape. It is constructed from a more fitted and lean inner skirt with two panels that curve over that and cross over at the front. These are shaped on rounded lines so give that wonderful shape that you see. This plays against the graphic top that combines rectangle blocks that wrap around the bodice and large round dots that make up the neckline. The shapes are covered with either a solid application of either black or white sequins that give the dress some glitz. I love the neckline with its huge dots that curve up from the center of the bodice and then down to attach to the back. Its so fun and unusual. A great little piece. Excellent condition
