All of Midwest Stair Part's box posts are proudly made in the USA, by skilled craftsmen. Our large volume allows us to purchase high quality, domestically made box newels at imported prices. Our newels are never made from plywood, only solid hardwoods. The boxes are lock mitered together forming a strong joint that resists opening.
