Pearl is a revered longevity food that has been used for centuries by Taoist Herbalists to support one's inner and outer radiance. It is an excellent source of minerals including calcium, zinc, iron, selenium, and amino acids. Why Do we use "Levigated" Pearl?
Our Pearl Powder is "Levigated" meaning it is micro-ground to nano-proportions for optimium bio-availability. We source it from from sustainable, freshwater farms. This technique now used is known as levigation, where high grade pearl is ground in water using a circular motion until the fine powder becomes suspended in water. Once the water is removed, it is separated from the powder from non-suspended heavier powder. More water is added and this process is continues until all the pearl is extracted (goes into suspension). This process allows the pearl to become a bio-avialble source once dried and this “levigated” Pearl powder is almost nano-sized and is thus very easy for the human body to absorb.*

Our Pearl Powder is Super Micro-Ground, 100% pure fresh water pearl powder. The pearl is harvested from Zhejiang province, the largest origin place of freshwater pearl in China.
